But on Sunday afternoon, January 19, 2014, Kareen proved she could also be the socialite princess of posh South Bombay, if she wants to. Kareena spend a day at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on Sunday, for the Mid-Day Trophy.
Looking stunning in a black and white printed summer dress, and sunglasses, the Begum looked drop dead gorgeous as always. Kareena wore the knee length Ashish N Soni dress with nude Prada Shoes. She carried a vintage look and accessorised it with black round Tom Ford sunglasses.
Kareena Kapoor made her presence felt, and even gave away trophies to the winning jockeys. At the prize distribution ceremony, Kareena was flanked by her Bodyguard co-star Hazel Keech and Bigg Boss 7 Ex-housemate VJ Andy.
Also seen at the races were the fabulous singer/actress Monica Dogra, actor Ali Fazl, designer Amy Billimoria, Gulshan Grover, Jai Ho actress Daisy Shah, socialite Natasha Poonawalla and her husband Adar.
Kareena definitely had a ball at the races, playing the stylish fashionista. Upon another’s insistence, she donned a peach coloured wide-rimmed hat, to cement the fact that she was spending time at the races.
Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen in Ajay Devgn’s Singham 2, which was also announced over the weekend. Kareena also recently revealed that she is quite excited to play the role of a Maharashtrian girl for the first time.
Also, this time replacing the bad man Prakash Raj in the role of a baddie will be the writer and director Amole Gupte. Amole too is very excited to be a part of the project and claimed that he is a very big fan of Rohit Shetty’s films and will be starting his shoot from second week of March for the film.
