Priyanka Chopra’s Mary Kom biopic is one of the most anticipated films of 2014. The actress is giving her everything to the character. No wonder that the makers want things to go absolutely right for Mary Kom.
Hence, they have decided to postpone the release date of Mary Kom from October 02, 2014 to a later date; thus averting a clash with Bang Bang and Haidar.
Many would think this has been done keeping in mind the possible damage each of the film will incur if released on October 02, 2014 but due to the biopic itself. Apparently, the film will be made in two versions, one for the Indian audience and the other for the international audience.
The first one will have songs and Kom’s life story as a part of the narrative while the international one will concentrate on her boxing achievements mostly.
Given the two versions, the makers are in no hurry to release the film just yet. According to reports, they want the film to be the successor of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which saw unprecedented footfalls at the theatre.
The buzz about the film is strong and Priyanka Chopra’s looks have already pleased the audience.
