The Tigress Of Bengal, Legendary actress Suchitra Sen who was known as the Greta Garbo Of Bengali Cinema passed away January 17, 2014 of a heart attack at a super-speciality hospital in Kolkatta. She started her career with the Bengali film Shesh Kothaay, then went ahead with Devdas, Saptapadi, Pronoy Pasha. In the year 2012, she was conferred West Bengal Government’s highest award, Banga Bibhushan for her immense contribution to Bengali Cinema.
