Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has geared up for the release of her upcoming film Begum Jaan. The films trailer has already raised the curiosity among the audience over Vidya Balan’s boldest performance.

Post the trailer launch, Vidya Balan shared about her uncomfortable experience when a man at the airport touched her hand and put his arm around her waist. The actress revealed that how she dealt with the horrifying incident at the airport, who called himself her die-hard fan.

Sharing about the incident Vidya Balan said, “I told him don’t, but he put it again. My manager saw it and said please don’t. So when I turned to pose for cameras, he put his hand around my waist again the third time. I said listen don’t, what do you think you are doing? This is wrong. Then he said sorry can I have a selfie, I said no you can’t, behave yourself.”

“When a stranger puts an arm around you, be it a man or a woman you get uncomfortable because they are intruding into your personal space. We are public figures, not public property,” Vidya Balan said in an interview with an entertainment portal.

Talking about Begum Jaan, the film is an adaptation of a Bengali film ‘Rajkahini’. Produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Vishesh Bhatt, and Play Entertainment, Begum Jaan is co-produced by Sakshi Bhatt and Shree Venkatesh Films. The movie is written and directed by National award-winning director Srijit Mukherjee.

Begum Jaan stars Vidya Balan in leading role with Naseeruddin Shah, Ila Arun, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Rajit Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vivek Mushran, Chunky Pandey, Poonam Singh Rajput, Ridheema Tiwari, Flora Saini, Priyanka Setia, Mishti Chakraborty, Sumit Nijhawan, Pitobash and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles.

The movie will release in cinemas on April 14, 2017.
