MUMBAI: Bollywood loves to support social causes, and this time around too, we spotted a host of Bollywood personalities walking the ramp, for a special cause.

The ‘Global Peace Initiative’ campaign included a ‘Walk of Peace’, i.e. a fashion show to spread the message of peace and harmony on the day Mumbai was attacked four years ago. And a bevy of Bollywood beauties showed up to support this very noble cause.

Stars like Viveik Oberoi, father Suresh Oberoi, Shazahn Padamsee, Sana Saeed, singing sensation Raageshwari, tennis star Sania Mirza, Hrishita Bhatt, and several TV stars walked the ramp for fashion designer Neeta Lulla.

The event, which was held at the Wellingkar Institute of Management Research, saw the Oberois walk the ramp with Kia Scherr, who lost her husband and daughter in the terrible terrorist attacks of 26/11.

Father and son, Suresh and Viveik, looked effortlessly stylish in a Neeta Lulla creation: both donned embroidered kurta pyjamas with beautiful stoles to match. Their partner on the ramp, the brave and beautiful Kia donned a white churidar kurta embellished with tiny mirror work detailing.

Raageshwari took to the ramp with designer friend Neeta, both ladies choosing to sport black ensembles. Sania Mirza looked ethereal in white, with a simple anarkali-styled outfit. She was accompanied by several little ones, while walking the ramp.Shazahn and Hrishita rocked the nine-yard look: the former in an elegant black sari, and the latter choosing a starkly contrasted white sari.

All in all, it was a fashionable evening, where our stars pitched in for the noble cause to spread the message of peace, unity and harmony.
