First it was the actress, who clarified about their relationship status, in a statement given to one of the media, Anushka said, “I feel the minute we start talking about our private lives, all focus just shifts there. Then I’ll also have to answer questions like Valentine’s Day pe kya karne wale hain? Apne birthday pe kya gift diya? I can’t do that. Like I said, it’s all in the open. Whether I go for a dinner or to watch a match, everybody can see it. But if people still need a verbal confirmation, I am not giving it. But really, how louder can I get?” the actress, later also confirmed that the news of the couple soon getting engaged is a rumour, and is not happening for now.
The couple have smartly made it obvious by making public appearances, the duo was spotted several times, cheering in stands for the team, spending evenings at restaurants or holidaying abroad and also the cricketer blowing a kiss to his lady love over scoring a century. Well, that is when the media geared up and ended asking about his relationship status with the bubbly Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma.
During the launch of a fashion line on Thursday, Cricketer Virat Kohli said, “It is out in the open (Jo hai sabke saamne hai abhi). We are not hiding anything; we are not trying to hide anything. I don’t want to hide anything. But if you get repeatedly asked on the same thing and if it is made a matter of debate then both the individuals don’t feel it is right. If you are seen together somewhere and still people ask ‘is it confirmed?’, then it is a matter of common sense. If you know then why ask the same question, that is our basic logic behind it. It is not something wrong apparently for people that we are doing.We will not personally like to speak about it because it is something very personal for us and that should be respected by the media and everyone else as well”
Well, must say, the couple have smartly handled the questions about their relationship with wit.
