Mallika Sherawat knows how to always stay in the limelight and one look at the poster of Dirty Politics one can conveniently say that she is back with a huge controversy.
In a recently released poster of Mallika Sherawat‘s forthcoming film Dirty Politics, she is seen draped only in the tri-colour and this is going to raise a lot of eyebrows in the country.
In the poster, Mallika Sherawat is seen sitting on the top of an Ambassador draped in tri-clour with a CD in her hand. Now if this was not enough, in the background, Rajasthan Assembly can be seen.
According to reports, director K.C. Bokadia is already facing pressure from a political party to change the poster.
“Workers of a political party from Rajasthan are putting pressure on me to change the tri-colour into some other scrap of fabric,” informed K.C. Bokadia.
Dirty Politics is reportedly based on Jodhpur’s Bhanwari Devi sex scandal and K.C. Bokadia clarifies, “It has nothing to do with the tri-colour, nor is it any political party’s symbol. Also, there is no Ashoka Chakra, so essentially, it is just a piece of cloth in three different colours.”
Mallika Sherawat is playing the role of Bhanwari Devi in Dirty Politics, which also stars Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, Govind Namdev, Ashutosh Rana and Rajpal Yadav.
