Something we are not surprised of! As we all know, casting couch happens at various levels and has always been an unknown truth, as hardly anyone opens up with their casting experiences. The concept of casting couch has been going on in Bollywood industry since a very long time. Many actors have been outspoken while some choose to keep it secret. Recently, Ranveer Singh and Tisca Chopra had revealed about their experience of casting couch and now Bigg Boss fame Karisma Tanna opens on the same.
Karishma Tanna, who started her career as Indu in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, had many ups and downs in her career. The actress has gone through every level, be it television, films or reality shows. In an all tell interview with TOI, Karishma Tanna shared her casting experience.
She said, “I have not faced the proper casting couch like ‘come sleep with me kind of thing’. If people have hinted also I have not given that hint back. Maybe things would have been different, if I would have. But I never believed in that, if I have the talent and face then the director will take me in the film. Forget about the director even if you are speaking to someone, people flirt and give hints and it’s up to you how you want to take it forward. I never encouraged that kind of things probably that’s why I am still here.”
Well, this proves that Karishma Tanna is bold enough and does not believe is settling for something just for the sake of fame. You go, girl!
