[tps_footer]Jagga Jasoos starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif has already been facing a lot of issues while shooting for this movie and enough of times shooting schedule was even postponed and cancelled. But now it’s not the lead actors or the makers of this movie who are finding it difficult to complete this movie but even the multiple hit songs music director Pritam Chakraborty has revealed, it’s tough for him to work in this movie which has almost twenty songs in it and the briefs for songs keep changing which confuses Pritam a lot and it’s getting more and more difficult for him to be part of Anurag‘s Jagga Jasoos.

Here is what Pritam has to share about his difficulties working with Anurag with whom he has worked in movies like ; Life In A Metro, Barfi and Gangster. But Jagga Jasoos is giving him back to back headaches, “The number keeps on changing every day, I also don’t know how many songs. But there are lots of songs. I think Jagga Jasoos is the most difficult film I have ever worked in or I will be ever working in. The situations are devised as musicals and it is getting really difficult to crack because we do one love song, wedding song, sad song. In all the Hindi films, we are given briefs like ‘they are falling in love, painting the town’ but in Jagga Jasoos the brief is very complicated and layered”
Although, he is facing a lot of issues working on this project but he still has a lot of faith in Anurag‘s way of working and he said “Anurag loves doing this.. even in Barfi, his protagonist was not talking; just imagine doing a film where the leads don’t talk properly. His films are always challenging but this is ten times more challenging than Barfi. I am trying to cope up with it and hopefully, I pray we get through and do a good work.”

We didn’t miss out on asking Pritam about his collaboration with Karan Johar as he is working with KJo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan. Pritam is ready to give blockbuster music in it and we asked him about the differences working with Karan Johar and Anurag Basu, two different director with different genres of movies and different style of storytelling. Pritam said, “He is such an impromptu, instinctive person. It has been the easiest experience to work with him because he is so instinctive. He says ‘No’, ‘Yes’ on the spot. If he likes it or doesn’t like it he will tell why, and if he half likes it he will tell you, ‘I like this, can you change the other part’. So it’s very easy to work with people like him.”
Pritam is completely impressed with Kjo‘s work style and he shared with us the way Karan Johar gives immediate feedback and is very instinctive to work with. We wish it could be the same for Anurag‘s Jagga Jasoos as well but different people have different ways of working. But keep up the good work Pritam. He has has won several awards like 2 Filmfare Awards, 4 Zee Cine Awards, 3 Star Screen Awards and 3 IIFA Awards and many more for his various projects.
