Hema Malini Discharged From Hospital

Bollywood’s veteran actress and BJP MP Hema Malini who was admitted to Fortis hospital on Thursday night have been discharged from the hospital on request by her family. The actress was admitted after her car Mercedes Benz rammed an Alto car in which four injured and one 5-year-old girl died on the spot in Dausa, Rajasthan.

The veteran actress was discharged today morning at 9:30 am, on request by her family. Hema Malini who received a stitch on her head on Thursday night has gone under surgery and has got nasal fracture and Para nasal assimilation. The mishap left four people severely injured while one 5-year-old girl died who were travelling in the Alto car.

On Friday morning at 7:45am, Dausa police arrested Hema Malini’s driver Mahesh Chand Thakur under section 304-A (Causing death due to negligence) of the Indian Penal Code(IPC) which is a bailable offense. After investigation with Hema Malini’s driver Mahesh Chand Thakur, he said that the alto car driver didn’t show any indicator while taking turn.

The major accident took place on National Highway near Dausa, post 8:30 pm, when the actress’s car collided with an Alto. The mishap left four people severely injured while one 5-year-old girl died who were travelling in the Alto car.  While Hema Malini was bleeding from the forehead area above the right eye and was soon rushed to Fortis hospital for the treatment. Her driver is said to have suffered leg injuries. Reportedly,Mahesh Chand Thakur was produced before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, who granted him bail and was later released on bail.
