This morning you all got up to the news that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have welcomed their first child together in the world at the Breach Candy Hospital. The little prince is called Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi
In a statement by the new parents, they thanked the media and their audience: “We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son : Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all…With love, Saif & Kareena,” the statement read. Within minutes of the statement, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi was trending on Twitter.
Taimur also received warm welcome from grandpa Kapoor and Masi Kapoor. Here’s what they had to say.
Kareena’s father, Randhir Kapoor said, “We are extremely excited and very happy for my daughter and my grandson and I want to thank all the well-wishers who have prayed and wished all their very best to Kareena and Saif.”
Expressing her joy at the arrival of this new bundle of joy, Karisma Kapoor, the proud masi said, “We are absolutely delighted and thrilled on the birth of Kareena and Saif’s son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi. Mom and baby are doing fine. A proud Masi.”
Kareena carried her pregnancy very well and turned out to be an inspiration for all mommies-to-be. We will the family hearty congratulations!!
