Humshakals is ready to test waters this Friday with too many people in the cast. There are three Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor in the cast, plus Esha Gupta, Tamannah and Bipasha Basu.
The buzz is good if not strong, and Sajid Khan is looking ready to wipe off the disastrous Himmatwala from people’s minds with this film. But just when the film is about to release, may be an insignificant controversy has come up.
Apparently, the Caller Tune song from the film is a copy of a track from a Bengali film titled Khokababu.
Caller tune is increasingly becoming popular with its catchy tune. Himesh Reshammiya is also getting praised for the composition. But this piece news can put a stop to that.
If you listen to both the songs, only the mukhda seems alike and not the whole song. But it is true there is a definite similarity between the two compositions. The Bengali song Soniye Tu has been composed by Rishi Chanda and it is quite popular in Bengal.
Now we aren’t sure if anybody is taking things to serious proportions or not but it really makes us wonder if it was just a coincidence or blatant disregard for people’s intelligence on Reshammiya’s part.
