At 16th edition of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend and Awards, Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan launched a book on his father Rakesh Roshan, written by his sister Sunaina Roshan. ‘To Dad With Love’ tells their father’s tough journey, struggles and success. Dressed in monochrome outfit, Hrithik Roshan looked stunning as ever. For the very first time the book was launched on an international platform like this one in Kuala Lumpur.
Hrithik Roshan not only looked dapper but also excited to launch his sister’s debut book on father Rakesh Roshan. “I am happy and proud to be here. Not everyone gets a chance to talk about how much a brother loves his sister, on an international platform.” Hrithik said. The actor then went further and said that his father’s journey inspires him and will always does till the day he dies. “The book is about my father’s incredible journey. His life will inspire me till the day I die. He has shot in places with extreme climate and has experienced tragedies,” Bang Bang actor said.
Hrithik has penned the foreword and calling his father “less expressive”, Hrithik said that his sister Sunaina decided to write the book to express how much she loves him.
Hrithik revealed that for the book, his sister had to do an in-depth research, meet a lot of people, and get the candid information about her father and also the old photographs. Sunaina spoke to about 30 people, including Shatrughan Sinha, Jeetendra and Rishi Kapoor to get all the candid memories related to her father. A lot of hard work was put in behind the project to run smoothly and secretly.
