IIFA 2015 brought the entire Bollywood fraternity together for the grand night at Putra Indoor Stadium in Malaysia on June 7, 2015. Hosted by Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, the grand night witnessed some great performances by Shahid Kapoor, Sonkashi Sinha, Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and many more. Also Bollywood actors received a big win in their respective categories at the starry night.
Like every year, fans visited from every corner of the world to see their favourite stars at the award show. Bollywood’s top two actors Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut bagged ‘Best Performance In a Leading Role’ for ‘Queen’ and ‘Haider’ respectively. Also her film ‘Queen’ received best picture award.
While charming actor Tiger Shroff and beautiful actress Kriti Sanon won ‘Best Debut’ award for their film ‘Heropanti’. Dimpled lady Deepika Padukone walked with ‘Woman Of The Year’ given by actor Ranveer Singh while Rajkumar Hirani took home Best Direction trophy for “PK”.
Riteish Deshmukh known for his power packed entertainment films bagged ‘Best Regional’ award for Marathi film ‘Lai Bhaari’ co-produced by his star wife Genelia D’Souza. The actor also received award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in Ek Villain by defeating against 2 States, Kick, Finding Fanny and Haider.
Handsome hunk Varun Dhawan walked away with Best Performance In Comic Role for Main Tera Hero. Known for her intense role in Haider, actress Tabu bagged won Best Performance in a Supporting Role – female for Haider.
