Impersonator Brings Obama In Tere Bin Laden: Dead Or Alive

Tere-Bin-Laden-[tps_footer]Bollywood was quite surprised when a low budget film ‘Tere Bin Laden’ became a hit in 2010. Director Abhishek Sharma began writing the sequel to the film along with actor Pradhuman Singh who played the role of Osama Bin Laden. The sequel to the film titled ‘Tere Bin Laden: Dead Or Alive’ features a prominent character, US President Barack Obama. The trailer to the sequel is lot more crazy than the first one.

Both Abhishek and Pradhuman began their search for the actor to portray the character of African-American President. After a lot of searching, director Abhishek Sharma found a video online ‘President Obama on Death of Osama bin Laden’, which featured American rapper-comedian Iman Crosson. The director came across the video in which Iman had rapped Obama’s very serious speech when he announced the death of the wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden.

In an interview with Mirror, Abhishek Sharma revealed how they found the perfect Obama for their upcoming movie. He said “My team got in touch with Iman who’s based in Los Angeles. He flew down to Mumbai and we shot with him on a large set of Abbottabad, recreating the speech and the rap.”

The interview also revealed that Iman has been invited to White House twice. The actor-comedian has met the President, made him smile through his mimicry and received a compliment as the ‘best mimic’. Barack Obama also knows that Iman is playing his character in ‘Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive.’

Iman Crosson, who goes by the name as Alphacat on his Youtube channel, is known for his impersonation of the President. He calls himself as the President’s ghost writer and also raps all his speeches making it as funny and hilarious for his audience. He has done many spoofs on the various artists and the politicians.

Well, with that being said, it looks like President Obama will surely be watching the upcoming comedy flick. The movie also stars Manish Paul and Sikander Kher in pivotel roles. It is set to release on February 26, 2016.
