[tps_footer]Imran Khan who has lent his voice along with Sonakshi Sinha for Rio 2 is busy preparing to be a father and is doing all that he can to promote Rio 2.
Imran Khan lead a flash mob at a mall in Mumbai as he and a vibrant group of dancers promoted the animation movie, Rio 2. Imran Khan was seen having a blast as he danced and interacted with the dancers in the flash mob.
Imran has lent his voice to the cartoon character, was apparently very happy to be a part of the flash mob. The actor thoroughly enjoyed lending his voice to the animated character Blu for the film and he also learned about the elements that go behind the making of an animation film.
“Rio was an absolutely fun and fantastic watch when it released a couple of years ago. The macaw Blu is a complete delight onscreen and when I was approached to voice Blu in Rio 2 I readily agreed to be part of the film. The style of humor and cartooning is great. I like the awkward sense of humor that my character has in Rio.” stated Imran Khan in his statement.

According to Imran Khan, there is a huge different in being a dubbing artiest and dubbing for one’s own part in a film.
“There are so many nuances that synergize beautifully and it’s a completely different world when we compare to other movies. I had so much fun while dubbing as I had the complete freedom of giving various reactions and expressions through my voice, which is quite different from Bollywood, where we merely re-enact our dialogues shot previously,” said Imran who is very excited about Rio 2 and is looking forward to the release of the film.
Rio 2 is an animated film, which is dubbed in Hindi by Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan, and is slated to hit the theatres tomorrow, April 11, 2014.
