We all thought that Ranbir Kapoor-Katirna Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos will be a cute, romantic musical treat for the audiences. But that’s not enough. There is more to it.
Katrina Kaif just revealed that there is an action sequence that she will be shooting with Ranbir Kapoor.
Katrina posted a video on social media. She wrote, “A hair-raising thrilling tale of adventure.”
The film’s trailer and the newly released songs Ullu ka Pattha and Galti se Mistake have intrigued the audiences and people are eager to witness the world of Jagga.
Jagga Jasoos is about a boy named Jagga, who heads out on a mission to find his father. And on his journey, he meets Shruti aka Katrina Kaif and they fall in love.
Throwing more light on the film and explaining his experience with the movie, director Anurag Basu said, “I wouldn’t say it’s a Broadway-styled musical. It is far more Indian in tone and treatment. It wasn’t difficult for me to do the musical format on the screen. I’ve done the format in theatre. So it was only a matter of translocating the format.”
Jagga Jasoos also stars Sayani Gupta, Saswata Chatterjee, Saurabh Shukla and Karan Wahi. The film is directed by Anurag BasuIt and is co-produced by Kapoor’s Picture Shuru Entertainment, Disney India and Basu’s Ishana Movies. It is slated to release on July 14, 2017.
Meanwhile, while Ranbir Kapoor is shooting for the Sanjay Dutt biopic, Katrina Kaif is working with Salman Khan for the sequel of Ek Tha Tiger titled Tiger Zinda Hai.
