Having Kader Khan in a film meant some rib-tickling moments for sure. He has appeared in numerous Bollywood films in his long career span mostly in a comical avatar.
This comedian and also a dialogue writer has been wheel-chair bound for the past three years as a result of a failed knee surgery.
According to an entertainment portal, Shakti Kapoor, who has appeared alongside the 80-years-old actor, has been trying to get through to him, but Kader seems to have changed his number. Shakti was quoted as saying, “Yes, Kader Khan is now on a wheelchair. It’s so so sad to be talking about this and I am trying to reach him since the past few days, but I am not able to get his number. I hope to have it in the next 2-3 days.”
Shakti further added about Khan’s knee surgery, “Kader Khan had a knee problem. He got operated but the operation went wrong.” He added, “Kader Khan’s elder son resides in Canada. So, he has gone there to avail medical facilities which can cure him. I think his wife is accompanying him.”
A while ago Kader Khan was recorded saying that the filmmakers are not approaching him to cast him in their films due to his illness. Khan was also spotted at the trailer launch of his film Hogaya Dimaagh Ka Dahi in August 2015, was clearly having difficulty in talking and walking.
We hope Kader Khan recovers soon and speedily.
