MUMBAI: Burglars broke into Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s Juhu residence and reportedly escaped with seventeen gold bangles worth five lacs on 22 October, 2013.
Post the FIR of the burglary, the police on Friday recorded the statements of fourteen people including eleven who work as ‘domestic help’ at actor’s house. The remaining three whose statements have been recorded, were hired by Kajol on October 15, 2013 just to clean the house prior to Diwali.
Kajol in her complaint said that she had kept the bangles inside a box in her bedroom on October 13, but on October 22, she noticed that the bangles were missing.
The burglary comes after the October 16, 2013 theft at the house of actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra and businessman husband Raj Kundra.
We hope that the burglars are nabbed as soon as possible.
