Actress Kangana Ranaut who has been in the limelight for all the positive reasons lately has landed in steep trouble due to her chosen apparel at the 62nd National Awards function this year.
The Queen actress opted for a body hugging outfit rather than the norm of wearing a traditional trousseau for the big national event.
The curly haired beauty was adorning a lilac colored outfit by a New York based Indian designer Bibhu Mohapatra. Apparently, the designer’s creation was also once worn the first lady of US Michelle Obama when she visited India earlier this year.
There were hushes amidst the onlookers when Kangana chose to go the modern way leaving behind the sarees and the full clad dresses.
The history concludes that almost all female personalities who have been awarded with the National Award titles have worn ethnic designs and nothing revealing.
Kangana was no doubt looking ravishing in her lilac colored outfit, the young lady chose to keep her look simplistic with her hair tied up in a bun and completed the look with a dark maroon shade lipstick.
The actress has been receiving positive reviews on her trailer of upcoming film Tanu Weds Manu Returns directed by Aanand L Rai is set to hit the screens on June 22.
