MUMBAI: Karan Johar, Bollywood’s most stylish and flamboyant filmmaker, was spotted at the press conference to announce the FICCI Frames in Mumbai yesterday.

The 14th edition of the FICCI Frames (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) 2013 was announced by Karan Johar and Uday Shankar, Chief Executive Officer, Star, India. Karan looked quintessentially the larger-than-life filmmaker as he spoke at the press con to launch the FICCI Frames.

Karan waxed eloquent about the importance of FICCI and the breakthroughs in Indian cinema. Looking dapper in his trademark black, Karan even managed to speak about why he’s worried by the 100 crore trend.

Karan Johar is also the co-chairman of FICCI Frames 2013. Said an excited Karan, “At FICCI this year some truly interesting sessions on cinema, technology, media… panel discussions with some extremely fascinating achievers.”

The event, organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), kicks off on Wednesday and the three-day global convention will reportedly cover the various aspects of media and entertainment like films, broadcast (TV and radio), digital entertainment, animation, gaming, and visual effects. According to the official website, a whopping 2,000 Indian and 800 foreign delegates are expected to attend the event.
