The much shocking revelations made by Karan Johar in his upcoming book, The Unsuitable Boy about the fall-out between him and his best friend of at least 2 decades and his first heroine, Kajol, is the talk of B-Town currently. We all know that Karan had issues with Kajol’s husband, Ajay Devgn, but thus never affected Karan and Kajol’s friendship.
Until recent when the excerpts of the book were released, everyone knows what the problem is, or atleast what the problem is from Karan’s perspective. “I don’t have a relationship with Kajol anymore. We’ve had a fallout. Something happened that disturbed me deeply which I will not talk about because it’s something that I like to protect and I feel it would not be fair to her or to me. After two and a half decades, Kajol and I don’t talk at all. We just acknowledge each other, say ‘hello’ and walk past,” read the excerpts.
He goes on to write, “Prior to the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, a lot happened. Things were said, crazy accusations were made against me, that I had bribed someone to sabotage the image of her husband’s film. I wouldn’t like to give a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for twenty-five years. I don’t think she deserves me. I feel nothing for her anymore. I don’t even want to speak about her husband because it’s inconsequential to my life now. He doesn’t matter to me, he never did. I still don’t want to say anything about her husband because I want to respect the history she and I shared.”
While we haven’t heard anything from Ajay and Kajol, a source close to the couple has spilled some beans. The source says that this is nothing but a publicity stunt that Karan is pulling on for his upcoming book. He added that everyone knows the bitchy nature of Karan and even Shah Rukh Khan has been irked with him in the past for the comments he passed about Priyanka Chopra. The source went on talk about an incident that happened two years ago where Karan spoke very badly about Kajol to an A-list actor who went on to tell that to Ajay. Ajay was quite surprised when he was told about and asked the reason for it to this A-list actor. Ajay was obviously livid when he heard such comments about his wife. He called Karan Johar and abused him for attacking his wife in such a lowly manner and said he should not make things personal and keep them professional.
It was also reported that it is not a co-incidence that Karan chose to speak about his sexuality now and this fall-out which goes way before Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil clash, this is all much-calculated publicity for his book.
