MUMBAI: Kareena Kapoor Khan has a long-standing history with the City of London, which is all set to go deeper in the weeks to come.
A few months ago, her late father-in-law Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi aka Tiger Pataudi was honoured at a formal sit-down lunch in London. Kareena is sure following in her illustrious family’s footsteps, for the Begum of Pataudi will now be honoured at the House of Commons in London.
Kareena is being felicitated by the Asian Sunday newspaper and Members of the British Parliament for her contribution to the global entertainment industry.
The honour will be bestowed on Kareena at the launch of the newspaper’s London Edition, taking place at House of Commons on 29th October.
At the event are expected to be politicians of both parties, on behalf of the British Government. Also, present at the occasion will be Bradford and London MPs, VIPs, dignitaries and influencers from across the business and media sectors.
