After the stupendous success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Kartik Aaryan’s next outing, Luka Chuppi unveiled its trailer yesterday. The film which sees him opposite Kriti Sanon has a quirky and an interesting take on live-in relationship. The film releases on March 1 and its trailer has been well-received by the audience.
The film trailer begins with Kartik Aaryan’s character interestingly pointing out how it’s the season of marriages in B-town and hence even he decides to tie the knot and proposes Kriti Sanon albeit with his ring-box being upside down. Obviously this desi romcom has its own share of twist and turns and the couple decides to get into a live-in relationship and fake their marriage. However things don’t go according to their plan when their families decide to join the couple. The trailer is packed with some witty one-liners, some hilarious scenes and beautiful locales in Gwalior and Mathura. Kartik Aaryan yet again manages to tickle our funny bone with his expressions and mouthing some of the most laugh-worthy dialogue with a straight-face. Kartik aces this space where he mixes romance with comedy which makes our hearts melt and brings a smile on our face. His chemistry with Kriti Sanon cannot be ignored and it’s hard to ignore watching him dance in the trailer to the ‘90s hit track Yeh Khabar Chapva Do Akhbaar Mein. All we can say is that Kartik Aaryan is all set for yet another entertainer at the movies.
Luka Chuppi is helmed by newcomer director Laxman Utekar and produced by Stree and Hindi Medium fame Dinesh Vijan. Apart from Luka Chuppi, Kartik will be seen in the remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh and Love Aaj Kal 2. In both the films, he will be seen with Bollywood’s hot-steppers Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan respectively. We must say that this boy is tinsel town’s next true-blue romantic hero. All heart for Kartik Aaryan.
