In the upcoming film Zero, Shah Rukh Khan is playing the role of a dwarf who is obsessed with the character of Katrina Kaif!
It was the first day of the New Year and the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan surprised everyone with the teaser of his upcoming film, Zero. The film directed by Aanand L Rai stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma as well. The minute long video showed the actor in the role of a dwarf dancing carefree in front of so many people.
No doubt SRK is going to be the heart and soul of the film. But would you believe us if we tell you that he was not even the first choice for the film? In fact, before he became a part of the project, the storyline was completely from a different perspective.
As told by Katrina, SRK’s entry brought in a lot of changes in the film. She told Mid Day, “Initially, I was supposed to play myself in Zero. The film was titled Katrina Meri Jaan. There was a different cast on board and Shah Rukh sir wasn’t part of it. Now, it’s a satirical take on an actress.”
The actress is happy to have got the opportunity to work with Shah Rukh again. She added on saying, “Shah Rukh sir is one of the best actors in the industry. His drive, energy and passion are commendable. It’s great to be around him on a set.”
Now the film is about the dwarf character, played by SRK who is obsessed with the character played by Katrina Kaif. Zero, the film is slated to hit the theatres on December 21, this year in the festive season of Christmas and New Year.
