Meghna Malik popularly known as Ammaji has been missing from the daily soap Laado 2 for the past few episodes!
Meghna Malik has become a household name, all thanks to her character of Ammaji in the daily soap Naa Ana Is Desh Meri Laado. She was seen as this very powerful antagonist, hating the girl child. After the show went off-air, she was missing from the small screen. But the actress again made a very promising comeback with the sequel of the show, Laado 2.
Meghna again played the role of Ammaji in Laado – Veerpur Ki Mardaani. The show deals with some serious issues like women trafficking and se*ual abuse. But this time, Ammaji was not the villain. In fact, she has been portrayed as someone with a different perspective towards the girl child.
But since the past few episodes the character of Ammaji has been missing from the show. And the character of Anushka (played by Avika Gor) has been shown getting married to Yuvraj (played by Shaleen Malhotra). So, what has happened? Well, if the report of SpotboyE is to be believed then Meghna Malik has quit the show. And that also for a very shocking reason.
A source told the daily, “When Meghna signed the show, she was not told that Avika’s character will get importance over her. Besides, she was very upset that she was being killed in the story.”
Also, the death scene of Ammaji’s character is still remained to be shot. But with the actress absent from the sets, the producers are not able to decide on anything. So, it will be interesting to see if Meghna decides to shoot for her remaining part or remains upset with the makers. Also, if she does not show up, it will be interesting to see how the serials continues!
