However in a recent interview with GQ magazine, Katrina has done the unexpected thing and revealed many deep secrets of her personal life. Some of which were about her equation with Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and his family among others. However the most touching one was the confession about her own family, and the emptiness in her life because of not having a father figure.

Katrina Kaif opened up in the interview stating that not having a father figure in her life has affected her in many ways, and it might also have affected her relationships. The actress has many brothers and sisters and is very close to her mother and brother. In fact Katrina’s brother has somewhat filled the void of not having a father figure, and offered her a shoulder to lean on whenever she needed him. Naturally growing up in London and settling in India must not have been easy for the actress so she misses her family much more.
Katrina Kaif stated, “I did not have a father figure and I have often wondered if that has affected my relationships with men. I have not really scrutinized this with a therapist. So I am not sure. But when I think about my daughter and the qualities I want her to possess, I envision a big role played by her father, in instilling a strong sense of self. That is important to me.” Well it was certainly touching to see Katrina open up about her past, and reveal her expectations from her future husband.

Things are going pretty steady between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif who have practically moved in together. Certainly everyone is expecting to hear the official announcement of wedding from the duo, but marriage doesn’t seem on the card currently.
