Farhan Akhtar, who essays the role of Milkha Singh in the biographical film, was seen with his co-star Sonam Kapoor and director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra at an event for an insurance company. Farhan looked fit and fabulous in a blue tee, grey slacks and a navy blue blazer, while Sonam dazzled in a burnt orange anarkali kurta suit.

Sonam was giggly and shy and all things coy at the event, where she teased Farhan endlessly and blushed when he did the same. She even spoke about her miniscule but impactful role in ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.

Sonam said, “It’s a small role but I always wanted to be a part of a cult film. I’d rather do a small role in an iconic film than a big role in a mediocre film. Milkha gets inspired to be Milkha because of the character I play. I interpreted her as a dream that echoes through the film.”

Sonam Kapoor also spoke about the long kiss Farhan Akhtar shared with foreign actress Rebecca Breeds. “The kiss wasn’t meant to sensationalise the film, it was meant to take the story forward.”
