Lean Siddharth Malhotra Goes Mean For ‘The Villain’

Bollywood newbie Siddharth Malhotra is going to get an all new look to suit the title of his next film ‘The Villain’.

MUMBAI: He’s already ‘Lean’, and now he’s ready to don ‘Mean’! Bollywood’s newcomer Siddharth Malhotra, who wowed everyone with his head turning debut last year – in Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’, is going to get an all new look in his next film.

We hear that Siddharth is going for a ‘deadly’ makeover to suit the title of his film ‘The Villain’. The 28 year old ‘Kukkad Kamal Da’ actor will be seen breaking his chocolate boy mould in the Ekta Kapoor production.

Says an insider, “Siddharth’s look is been worked upon right now. There are look test which are happening. There have been around 8 -10 looks tried on him. However, picking the perfect look, still has a long way to go. He will be seen in a different genre of film and hence his look is of uttermost important.”

The source further reveals, “They want him to look tough and mean with a mild stubble, ample display of brawn and a different hairdo as well.”

The film is set in Mumbai and will apparently position Siddharth as the next ‘angry young man’ as veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan did many years ago. Under the banner of Balaji, filmmaker Mohit Suri wants to project Siddharth as the “quintessential mass hero”.
