Petition Against Messenger Of God
In January, a petition was filed seeking a ban against Dera Sachcha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s film Messenger of God in the states of Punjab and Haryana in January, 2015. Mohali based Sikh Body, Kalgidhar Sewak Jatha filed the petition arguing that screening of the movie, Messenger Of God would be a serious threat to the law and order situation and disturb the peace of the states of Punjab and Haryana.
