The first official trailer will be launched on December 7 in a unique way. Raising the curiosity level, SRK recently released a teaser video for the Raees trailer release where the actor revealed that he will interact live with the audience at the Raees trailer screening. While fans are eagerly waiting for the trailer, the makers of the film have got some major changes in the film.
Yes, Raees which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a cop has been reportedly edited for the most obvious reason as the makers do not want the film to land into trouble at any cost before the release. Wondering why and what it is? CLICK NEXT TO READ MORE!
As per reports, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan‘s role from Raees has been trimmed. Before going to Pakistan, Mahira Khan had done the shooting of her part for the film in Mumbai and Bhuj, Gujrat but the makers have chopped off her romantic scene with Shah Rukh Khan. After the ban was imposed on Pakistani artistes from working in India, the makers decided to trim Mahira Khan’s role, who plays SRK‘s love interest in the film. Also, as the story of the film revolves around Shah Rukh Khan who plays a bootlegger and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, it was not difficult for the makers to chop off her role. One can notice, the makers have not even mentioned Mahira’s name anywhere in the trailer teaser video of the film.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees tells the story of a bootlegger, whose business is thwarted by a policeman. SRK will be seen in the role of an alleged gangster who ran the illicit liquor business in Gujarat. The movie also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role.
The trailer of the film releases this December 7 and the film will release worldwide on January 26, 2017.
