[tps_footer]For the first time ever in Indian wrestling history, spectators got an opportunity to witness a pure combat sport at a 5-star hotel. Hyatt Regency, Manesar is playing host for the Haryana leg of the tournament in the first edition of Pro Wrestling League– Khel Fauladi.
Haryana Hammers emerged victorious on their home ground by beating Bengaluru Yodhas 4-3. The Haryana supporters came out in big numbers and gave the team their full support hooting for team Haryana.
The highlight of the evening was the most awaited Guru-Chela contest between Yogeshwar Dutt and Bajrang Punia. The Guru emerged as the winner beating Bajrang with a score of 3-2. The entire audience was cheering for Yogeshwar.
Speaking about this victory, Yogeshwar said, “I am happy that I won. However, it wasn’t easy for me to fight with Bajrang whom I treat like my son. We both in fact tried giving our 100% in the fight but feel that we couldn’t. Fighting with our close ones is not at all easy.”
Geetika added, “I am here to stay and support my team throughout. I will fight till the time I can.”
Nitin who was Amit Dahiya’s replacement played the perfect role to grab victory for the team. He commented, “I was fully prepared for my fight and was confident I will win.”
Tomorrow in PWL, Revanta’s Mumbai Garuda take on UP Warriors, starting at 7:00 pm at Hyatt Regency, Manesar.
