MUMBAI: Everyone is aware that actor Manoj Kumar was quite irked when Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan made a spoof of the actor in Farah Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’. So much that Manoj Kumar filed a case against Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan for tarnishing his image.
Manoj Kumar also demanded a public apology and requested the makers to delete the scenes from the film.
What has irked Manoj Kumar even more is that in spite of apparent assurances and promises made by Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan, the duo reportedly failed to remove the scenes from the new prints meant for the international release.
It is due to the repeated failed attempts to bring in a sense of responsibility in Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan that Manoj Kumar has withdrawn the case.
We hope someone takes note of this and give this cold war an amicable solution.
