Masaan Celeb Review: Bollywood Stars Share Their Views

Bollywood’s director Neeraj Ghaywan’s Masaan won big at Cannes Film Festival this year and also yesterday after its special screen was held in Mumbai! On July 22, Wednesday, the makers of Masaan held film’s special screening for the Btowners and since then, the internet is a buzz with the rave reviews that the film’s receiving from Bollywood celebrities!

The Bollywood drama film stars Richa Chadda, Shweta Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra and Vicky Kaushal. At the special screening, Bollywood celebrities such as Sonam Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Divya Dutta, Javed Akhtar, Kalki Koechlin, Kunal Kapoor and many more were spotted. As soon as the screening got over, our Bollywood stars went totally gaga and couldn’t stop complimenting the film.

The film will take us through the lives of two women who live in Varanasi. After watching Masaan‘s trailer and Bollywood going crazy about it, we are looking forward to catch the film on the big screen. Director Neeraj Ghaywan and the actors of Masaan have already won Btowners’ hearts and now we just can’t wait to find out what happens in the lives of Devi and Shalu, played by Richa Chadda and Shweta Tripathi in the film! Jointly produced by Manish Mundra, Macassar Productions, Anurag Kashyap’s Phantom Films and Sikhya Entertainment, Masaan was screened at Cannes Film Festival 2015 under Un Certain Regard. The film is all set to hit the theatres on July 24, 2015.

Poet lyricist and one of the most talented artists in Indian film industry Javed Akhtar was so amazed with the film that he called Masaan as “one of the finest films Hindi cinema has made” right after he stepped out of the screening. Later, the star expressed his love for the film on Twitter.
