[tps_footer]The 69th Annual Cannes Film Festival was well attended and star studded as always, we spotted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and she rocked the 15th year of being part of Cannes, so proud of Aish and her consistency to achieve success internationally. She even attended the screening of her movie Sarbjit which has been loved by the critics and other stars at the fest. Amy Jackson has made her debut at the Cannes and she looked so pretty, but nothing can take over our fashionista Sonam Kapoor, our Massakkali just looked like a real princess and her golden Jhumkas will always be unforgettable just like Aishwarya’s purple lipstick. But, other than these Bollywood and International stars we also spotted television stars making their own way to the Cannes Film Festival.

It’s none other than our dear Balika Vadhu a.k.a Avika Gor who has surprised us by attending Cannes. It’s such a proud moment to see more and more Indian stars, whether silver screen or television, are making their way out to get global recognition for their work and not limit themselves and their talents. Both, Avika Gor and Manish Raisinghani are a part of short film “Ankahee Baatein” which was unveiled at the gala and it’s selected for the Short Film Corner. This short film stars Manish and another popular TV actress Barkha Bisht. Our sweet and so young Avika is the creative director of the movie, girl is ready to take over the world with that big smile and fantastic acting skills. This movie is directed by Manav Bhinder but the presences of Avika and Manish has taken all the limelight from other artists and has opened new doors of opportunity for television stars.
