Narsingh Rajput was born on 22nd January 1970 in Sasaram, Bihar(India). His father was officer in agriculture Department, Bihar government and he retired from there. He completed his schooling from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh and moved to Delhi to complete higher education; He did B.A (Hons.) History from Delhi University and master’s in personnel management from University of Poona. After his post-graduation he did one year diploma in Film Direction from Zee Institute of creative Arts (ZICA).
He came to Mumbai in 1998 and started his career in direction with serials like Amanat and challenge with SanjeevBhatacharya. Challenge used to come on Sony and Amanat was telecast on ZEE. Furthermore, he started working on small projects. He also joined Magna Sound India Ltd., which is a big music company. There he was a production incharge and did many hit songs like Sonu Nigam’s ‘Mausam’, Hariharan videos and many more. He was also in Nimbus communication Limited in production department and did one serial of Doordarshan (KahaniSaatPheroki).Then he finally entered in Films.
His first film as a production controller was HritikRoshan’s and Saif Ali Khan’s movie ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’ and after that PareshRawal’s starring ‘WahWahRamji’. After these movies, He opened His own company with His brother and a friend named Mr. Surendra Bhatia. There he made their first film “FUN – can be dangerous sometimes”, Marathi movie “Vishwas”, Bhojpuri “Dulhamilaldildar” and then Hindi Feature Film ‘Tom Dick and Harry’ in 2006 and ‘Rama ramakyahai drama’ in 2008. He was an executive producer in all these films. Now ‘Tom Dick and Harry returns’ starring Sharman Joshi, AftabShivdasani and Jimmy Shergillis under production in which he is a producer. Recently he directed a short Film named “Push Scooter” for digital media.
