AAMBY VALLEY: Folks, we were the first to break the news of how ‘Ishaqzaade’ couple: Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor were to spend their new year’s eve. Here’s how it all went down, two nights ago at Aamby Valley.

Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor, the hit new pair of 2012, wowed audiences at Aamby Valley with their electrifying on-stage performance at ‘Glitterati’, the New Year’s Eve bash. The duo floored the spectators with their high-octane thumkas and jhatkas, and were seen burning up the dance floor in true-blue Bollywood style!

Parineeti commenced her performance with a slow, mellow rendition to her hit song ‘Pareshaan’, clad in a pretty pink bubble skirt; she looked perfect as the Bollywood Barbie doll. Arjun Kapoor gave us a delicious performance to ‘Chokra Jawaan’, his own massy song which rocked the country in 2012. All the while, he maintained his tapori look with a pin-striped shirt and jeans.

The duo then performed several other superhit songs, and kept the audiences enthralled with their positively radiant, high energy act on the dance floor.

Another Bollywood diva, who spent her New Year’s Eve working, was Prachi Desai. The ‘Bol Bachchan’ star performed at the Country Club, and reportedly won over several more hundred fans for herself with her rocking on-stage act. Clad in a red sequined blouse and black lehenga, the heavily made-up beauty wowed her fans with her on-stage latkas and jhatkas. Her back-up dancers matched her step-for-step, as they grooved with the ‘Rock On!’ babe.

With such electrifying performances by our Bollywood youth brigade, it is no surprise that the paying public had an absolute blast grooving to the ever-popular Bollywood numbers with their favourite stars.
