The trade analyst Ramesh Bala informed about the matter by tweeting on the same. Firstly he tweeted saying, “BREAKING: #Maghadheera film makers go to court against #Raabta.. Seek an injunction against the film’s release.. Story plagiarism charge..” Then he posted a screenshot of a whatsapp message informing the legal action.

Magadheera was a love story which featured the stars Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal. The film had a storyline based on incarnation and also had two different time zones. All of us have seen Raabta’s trailer and it is pretty much the same. Hence, the makers of Magadheera have accused the other film’s makers of stealing their copyrighted storyline.

It is also interesting to know that Magadheera was directed by the Baahubali director SS Rajamouli.

Now the court has decided to listen to both the sides on June 1 and then decide if the film can release on its scheduled date!

Raabta is slated to release on June 9, this year.
