The ‘Piku’ star Amitabh Bachchan shared about his thrilling day experience after he was chased by a tiger for 4 kms in Mumbai’s Sanjay Gandhi National Park Reserve. Big B who took a safari at the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, shared about his experience and much more in his series of tweets. He tweeted, “T 2019 – Chased by a Tiger in the heart of Mumbai for 4 kms .. what an experience !! More on this later !!”
He also shared couple of pictures of Tiger looking and chasing Big B. He tweeted with the pictures, “T 2019 – In close company of the Big Cat .. !! And this on a road in the heart of the city”
Big B who is as Maharashtra’s Tiger Ambassador attended an event at the SGNP on Tuesday. The veteran actor at the event said, “I shall give my best to help the forest department conserve and save the tigers in this state’s forests and reserves.”
Not only that, he also inaugurated two buses for the tourists to safari inside the SGNP where the big cats live in the open. The buses are specially designed with tigers and lions pictures engraved on it and by looking at Amitabh Bachchan’s pictures it seems he also had a safari and experience in the same bus.
Amitabh Bachchan who often writes blogs also took to his official blog account sharing a piece of his experience on the same. He wrote, “And driving to the functions to honour a week of this activity as a campaign , one passes through some of the thickest forest edifices that abound in the heart of the city. It is within the premises of the Film City. Many a time leopards have paid us a visit on our sets or our shootings. Many have been trapped and put back into the forest, if they were to wander beyond, but yes.. they do stroll around a bit to catch a glimpse of the stars that work within .This has been a revelation. 45 years in the city and never seen the beauty of these natural habitats that abound within the heart of the city.”[/tps_footer]
