[tps_footer]Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi who lost his mother Maherahh Hashmi in the afternoon of March 11, attended the funeral of his mom on Sunday.  Maherahh Hashmi, who was admitted to Hinduja hospital, succumbed to cancer and was fighting with the diseases from a very long time.

Emraan’s mother, who was a Roman Catholic, was paid last respects at a private church in Mumbai. Hashmi who was shooting in Romania for his upcoming film Raaz 4, retuned back to Mumbai as soon as he heard about the saddening news.

The actor was joined by producer Mahesh Bhatt and close friend Dia Mirza to pay last respects, held at a small church and saw only close friends and few family members in attendance. Dia Mirza who is known to be a close friend and like a family to Emraan Hashmi, arrived with her husband Sahil Sangha.

Producer and director Mahesh Bhatt, has always been in support of Emraan Hashmi during his good and bad times. Also, Maherahh Hashmi was the sister-in-law of director Mahesh Bhatt and producer Mukesh Bhatt.

Well, it’s a major loss for Emraan Hashmi and his family. It surely looked difficult for the actor to bid final adieu to his mom. Our prayers are with Emraan and his family for their irreparable loss![/tps_footer]
