MUMBAI: It was a starry affair at Day 1 at the Chivas Studio. The fashion extravaganza, held at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, saw our A-list Bollywood celestial stars in attendance.
Among the biggest names in attendance, we spotted Bollywood’s favourite filmmaker and fashionista Karan Johar, who had even presented a short film, directed by Shakun Batra, called ‘Strangers in the Night’, a tale of real friendship.
Johar, who is also a brand ambassador of Chivas India, said, “It has been an exciting opportunity for me to be a part of the Chivas Studio this year and creating the Chivas Short film with Shakun Batra and ace director of recent times. Chivas is all about brother hood and collaborations and making this short film has been a refreshing experience for me”.
This edition of Chivas Studio also saw Bollywood’s young brigade, represented by Imran Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Sana Saeed. The band of boys, barring Imran, all donned crisp black suits. Imran stood out in his stylish, innovative choice of cream pants, a sky blue shirt and a brown blazer- very Oxford professor, very cool!
We also spotted funnyman Boman Irani with wife and son, Arshad Warsi, Maria Goretti, Tisca Chopra, Rahul Dev, Sanjay Kapoor, Evelyn Sharma, Leslie Lewis, Ratna Pathak and many other Bollywood celebs.
