Bollywood is the place where relationships are not guaranteed, well there are some other people who are proud and shout their love out for their spouses, and one such couple is Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. The senior actors Amitabh and Jaya celebrate their 42nd anniversary today on June 3.
Amitabh Bachchan who has always maintained that his family is his first priority did not shy away from showering his love to Mrs. Jaya Bachchan, the veteran talent bundle took to his twitter account and tweeted an old picture of the two and captioned it , “To them that give me their wishes for the Anniversary, my sincere gratitude and love .. 42 years of marriage.”

Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan tied the knot on June 3, 1973. The two senior actors who are now proud grandparents had fallen in love with each other while doing films and got hitched after working together in the film Zanjeer. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were at their respective peaks in their careers, but that did not stop them from taking this step. The actor who was recently applauded for his performance in Piku was also heard sharing that he still remembers the ceremony by which they got hitched, the senior yet young at heart Amitabh Bachchan added that he very well recollects their first journey to the UK. Both the talent bundles were last seen together in the movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
