MUMBAI: Sexy Bollywood actress and producer Malaika Arora Khan is one tough cookie, and it sure looks like she wears the proverbial pants in the relationship. Not just that, the lady is urging other women to follow suit, and make their men “toe the line”, so to speak!
Taking forward Gillette’s ‘Shave or Crave’ movement, Malaika Arora Khan and her producer-actor husband Arbaaz Khan were spotted at an event held in Mumbai recently. And the message to all men was loud and clear, with Malaika telling her beau in no uncertain terms – ‘Shave or Crave’ and demanded that her husband should shave in the evenings too, to make her feel special. This was the ultimatum given to poor, hapless Arbaaz Khan by his stunning wife.
Said the gorgeous Bollywood beauty, dressed in a simple tee and printed leggings, “In spite of several requests, men fail to understand the importance of being well groomed in the evenings as well. If they can shave in the morning for their boss, why can’t they do it for us? It clearly shows that they don’t care enough. I urge women everywhere who feel the same way to make their men crave their company in the evening if they don’t shave and only agree to come close if they take that extra effort to shave.”
And her hubby dearest, the loving and accommodating Arbaaz Khan was forced to comply with his wife’s wishes. Arbaaz soon gave in, and agreed to shave on stage using the company’s razor. He even added, “If me being clean shaven in the evening makes my woman feel special, I will definitely start shaving off my evening stubble to show her I care. I also feel men should be clean shaven not just for someone but also because being well groomed makes one feel good about oneself”.
When Arbaaz honoured his wife’s request, Malaika was ecstatic and rewarded him with strong words of appreciation. She said, “I am extremely delighted that my husband has decided to be clean shaven in the evenings too and is urging men across the nation to do the same thing. This small gesture will make your women feel special and express your love and gratitude for all the effort she takes to be groomed all the time”.
And what chemistry the two shared on stage; what romantic vibes passed forth between them! The quintessential staged fight and the quick kiss-and-makeup had us all oohing and aahing in adoration. What we’d now like to see is the real life couple on celluloid soon.
