MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan is ready to paint the town red. Yes folks, the 47-year old actor and Bollywood superstar has a new mission: ‘Change The Paint’! Brand ambassador for Kansai Nerolac, Shah Rukh Khan is armed with paintbrush in hand, ready to accomplish this new mission.
Dressed for the Nerolac press conference in a dark suit and tie, Shah Rukh Khan looked ready and armed with a can of paint in his arsenal. Accompanied by the director and MD of Kansai Nerolac, Shah Rukh Khan spoke at length about the brand and his association with Nerolac. He even quipped with his unique style of wit and one-liners, in quintessential SRK style.
Shah Rukh revealed at the press con, that he will work until people want to see him on-screen. “I feel I was in the industry at the right time and I am very proud and thrilled that lot of things are changing with the films,” Shah Rukh Khan surmised during a press conference of Nerolac Paints, where he launched its new initiative ‘Change The Paint’.
Shah Rukh Khan added, “When I came in (Mumbai) that time it was only about romantic films. Now things are changing and the journey has been great. I will keep working till people want to see me.”
Shah Rukh firmly advocates the need to continue being a dreamer, to achieve one’s goals in life. “Everyday a new dream is born. It is nice to keep on dreaming. I dream to make different films; I want to see my kids healthy. But I feel you have to be rooted in reality before dreaming. Believe in reality at the first place and get your education first.”
The King of Bollywood- Shah Rukh also touched upon his humble beginnings, when he said, “Right now I am in a position where I can afford to do anything but when I just started off that time my dream was to have a house, car and everything.”
