Rajnikanth nervous! Unbelievable! Well Rajnikanth‘s reason for getting nervous is the fact that he would be acting opposite Sonakshi Sinha, who is all set to make an entry down South opposite the superstar Rajnikanth in Lingaa.
Rajnikanth expressed this sentiment since he is a good friend of Shatrughan Sinha and now he would be romancing his daughter on screen.
It has been reported that Sonakshi too expressed her nervousness about working with Rajnikanth, “I’ve met Rajni Sir when I was younger. After coming to the set of Lingaa, I told him that I was pretty nervous about working with him. But he surprised me by saying ‘ Why are you nervous? I am nervous to work with you since you’re my friend’s daughter,” said Sonakshi.
Sonakshi Sinha is very thrilled about working with the legend of cinema since Shatrughan Sinha and Rajnikanth are friends. “It is definitely a Dabangg entry for me.” says Sonakshi.
Sonakshi Sinha plays a girl from the 1940’s and is very excited for this novel role. “I am part of the 1940s generation and I play a girl who helps Rajnikanth. The look and setting are completely new and I am quite kicked about my part.”
The day before she was to leave for Mysore, Sonakshi took on to twitter to share her excitement and wrote, “Back in Boms, I miss New York, am properly jet lagged and tomorrow im off to Mysore for my first Tamil film. What a week its been.”
The muhurat shot of the movie has already been canned at the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore with the film’s lead actor Rajinikanth and writer of the film K. S. Ravi Kumar. Popular Kannada film actor and Karnataka Housing Minister Ambareesh, his wife Sumalatha, along with and Ravikumar were among those present when the pooja was performed.
