The latest to the movie PK is the song ‘Tharki Chokro’. This song features Sanjay Dutt and Aamir Khan. The music director is Ajay –Atul and lyricist Swanand Kirkire pens the song. Swaroop Khan, who is a rajasthani folk singer, sings the song. He was interestingly an Indian Idol season five contestant also.
The song is fresh, full of energy with touch of ethnicity. It will definitely remind the listeners of a contemporary folk rajasthani song. In the song we see Sanjay Dutt calling Aamir Khan a ‘Tharki Chokro’. The song starts with Sanjay Dutt’s dialogue and the song follows.
The visuals are quite colorful and the lyrics are catchy with funny words. The voice of Swaroop Khan is raw and complements Sanjay Dutt, who is playing the role of a Rajasthani. The music is soothing to ears; they have not made it too loud and maintained the quirkiness in the whole song.
