Prabhas has become the first superstar from south to have a wax statue in Madame Tussauds.

Prabhas’ performance in Baahubali has not only been loved by his fans and audiences but has also been appreciated by known film critics and reviewers. The film is doing equally great in the cinemas. All the box-office records have been broken since day one and it continues to do an amazing business, both in the domestic and international market.

We recently reported how the director, SS Rajamouli was all praises for the actor, Prabhas. With Baahubali and the related stories, the hard-working actor has made a place in many hearts in the country.

Now there is another feather added to his honour hat as the actor has become the first celeb from South India to have his wax statue in the famous Tussauds Museum. Although it is in Bangkok, and not in London. But still looking at the fact that there are so many megastars in the south including the legendary actor Rajnikanth, Prabhas chose for this honour is something great.

There are some photos which show the flawless statue of the actor at the museum. There are also some pictures which were clicked while the measurements were being taken for making the statue. The fans are delighted to see the pictures and the photos have gone viral on the net!

Being overwhelmed by this news, the actor had expressed his feelings. But here also he showed his grateful behaviour as he did not take the credit on himself. Instead, he thanked his fans and his guru SS Rajamouli for giving him the opportunity to work in a film like Baahubali.

He says, “I am really happy to have been selected by Madame Tussauds’ and I think this was only possible because of fans. I am grateful for their unconditional love and support. I am also thankful to my guru, SS Rajamouli, for the opportunity to work on this fantastic project Baahubali.”

Earlier, when the director came to know about this, he expressed his joy tweeting, “Very happy to announce that Madame Tussauds is making a wax statue of our PRABHAS… First South Indian to be honoured thus. The statue will be unveiled at Bangkok and subsequently will be toured all over the world.”
