Preity Zinta Provides Evidences Against Ness Wadia

Preity-Zinta-gives-her-statement-to-Mumbai-Police001[tps_footer]The Marine Drive police has recorded the statement of Preity Zinta in the molestation case registered by her against her former boyfriend and industrialist Ness Wadia, and also reconstructed the sequence of events that unfolded on May 30, 2014 at Wankhede Stadium.

A team of Mumbai crime branch officials also met Preity Zinta to seek details on the alleged threat calls and a text message sent by gangster Ravi Pujari to a personal assistant of industrialist Ness Wadia. The message allegedly asked the Wadias not to trouble Preity Zinta.

In the meanwhile the five CCTV cameras at Garware Pavilion in Wankhede stadium where actress Preity Zinta was allegedly molested Ness Wadia  have neither captured any argument nor scuffle inside the premises between the estranged couple.

“The examination of these five CCTV footages did not provide any evidence that would help us in the probe. The five CCTV footages which we thought would give some crucial leads have neither captured any argument or any scuffle between the two,” the police officer said stated who is investigating the case.

However, the officer clarified if not technical evidence, then the statements of witnesses will form crucial piece of evidence in the case.

Meanwhile, Preity Zinta has provided the names of about fourteen persons, who according to her, witnessed the argument and the incident of alleged molestation, the officer added.

Police have so far recorded the statements of seven witnesses, including Indian Premier League Chief Operating Officer – Sundar Raman and BCCI Secretary – Sanjay Patel, in connection with the case.

The other people named in the statement will now be summoned and their statements will be recorded in due course.[/tps_footer]
