If reports are to be believed, then the multi faceted Bollywood Diva has decided to co-produce Madhur Bhandarkar‘s upcoming movie Madamji. Priyanka is also playing the leading protagonist in the film. Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma have already joined the league of actors turning producers and Piggy Chops seems to be the new name on the list.
Ranbir Kapoor was quite ardent to co-produce his upcoming movie Bombay Velvet in which he is also playing the male lead, while Anushka Sharma is planning to produce her another movie lined up for shoot which is named NH 10.
Earlier Priyanka and Madhur had teamed up for Fashion and the movie was a blockbuster at the box office and it also earned Ms. Chopra National Award for her gallant acting.
According to the sources, when Madhur approached Priyanka for Madamji, she immediately conceded to the director and showed her interest for co-producing the film to which Madhur agreed too.
The story of Madamji revolves around an item girl turned politician, Madhur known for his penchant for hard hitting movies this time too has picked up a callous subject.
Priyanka has been getting a lot of appreciation for her latest international single I Can’t Make You Love Me, she has also wrapped shooting for her much awaited film Mary Kom. The shooting for Madamji will begin in October 2014, till then Piggy Chops will wrap up shooting of Zoya Akhtar‘s Dil Dhadakne Do.
