Ranbir Kapoor Avoiding Press Interactions Because Of Katrina Kaif?

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor walked out of a press meet midway when a media person asked the Barfi actor about his personal life. Ranbir lost his calm when he was constantly questioned about his ladylove Katrina Kaif. The actor got up and walked out of the press conference.

And now, the latest rumours suggest that the actor has decided to make very less appearances during his upcoming film Bombay Velvet‘s promotional events. Yes, rumour has it that Ranbir Kapoor has decided to make very little and limited appearances to avoid personal questions about his beau Katrina Kaif and their relationship.

Rumour also further suggest that at occasions when Ranbir will make an appearance to promote the film, media will be strictly guided to not ask any personal questions to the actor.

However, the director of the film, Anurag Kashyap is not really happy with Ranbir Kapoor‘s this decision. After all, Bombay Velvet was delayed enough, so the film needs all the publicity and promotion they can get. And during promotional events, if only the film’s lead goes missing, imagine what a drag it can prove to be for the film.

Bombay Velvet is an upcoming drama film based on Gyan Prakash‘s book called Mumbai Fables. The film shows the picture of Bombay in 1960’s and tells a story of a boxer, Johnny Balraj played by Ranbir and an aspiring jazz singer, Rosie played by Anushka Sharma.

Karan Johar will be making his acting debut in a negative role with this venture, and will play the role of antagonist in Bombay Velvet. Film’s trailer will be launched on March 19. The film will hit theatres on May 15, 2015.
